My challenge from last week was how was I going to cope with having visitors – well I believe that I did extremely well. They were all eating cheese and crackers – and not once did I feel like partaking with them. I have to say that I’m very proud of myself.
I didn’t feel liking eating any of the food that was there, and that would have to be the first time in my life that I have done that. Prior to doing the Whole30 I would have just said “oh well never mind” and eat what I wanted.
There was also the challenge of eating out. How was I going to deal with that? Once again I did very good. There are healthy choices on menus and you can always ask for things to be added or removed.
It may not have been 100% right, but I’m not going to beat myself up about it or go back to my old way of eating.
I now have 4 days to go before my 30 days are finished. However it’s not going to be the end of eating wholefoods. This will be my next challenge – continuing on with eating wholefoods as much as possible, but allowing myself to occasionally have something that is not on the wholefoods plan.
