Well where did that time go? Can’t believe that we are already into the second half of the year. It has just flown by.
So what have I been up to? Well much of the same really. I’m still at my home base in Blenheim, and continued the garden project that I started last year. That was a huge undertaking. I moved around a lots of stones that had been placed on the gardens and moved to another location on the property. Actually I dug up the front lawn and placed the stones there for a new parking space. I had been parking there and making a big mess of the lawn so it got dug up and stones down and now it’s a much nicer place to park.
On the gardens that I removed the stones from I have planted in shrubs and plants and the place is looking really good. Just in the process of finishing off putting bark on the gardens to make them low maintenance. One garden is going to be for vegetables, so still need to do some work on those to get some compost down and can’t wait for spring to do some planting.
I have no idea what I’m going to do going forward. That is something that I will have to work out very soon.
In the meantime I have been playing around with my camera and trying to get better at taking pictures. Here are some of what I have taken. Still got a lot of learning to do.
